Where Did “The Bearded Monkey” Come From?
It’s one of our favorite questions — because the answer is the heart of our brand.
We had a dog named Willie Bear, and Willie had one thing he loved more than anything: his toy monkey.
That monkey went everywhere with him…
To bed.
On walks.
To his food bowl.
Wherever Willie went, the monkey went too.
When we were choosing a name for our brand, we thought about that kind of love and loyalty — and we realized:
