Spring Activities in Chattanooga
Springtime is here! Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and the weather is warming up, and with warmer weather comes outdoor activities. After the months of cloudy, rainy, winter weather and strange snowstorms, it's finally time to get outdoors and enjoy time with friends and pets alike.
While most of our subscriber base is located outside of Tennessee, our company is located in Chattanooga. If you've never been to Chattanooga, or even if you have, you should plan a visit to our beautiful, extremely pet-friendly city. Being the first National Park City in North America, it boasts a wide range of parks, activities, and historical locations perfect for family or friend vacations. Whether you are visiting the area for the first time or you've been several times, we hope our list of pet-friendly activities will give you new ideas on how to spend your time.
What to do:

Downtown Chattanooga is definitely a must-see on any Chattanooga trip and is extremely pet-friendly. It's full of beautiful artwork, restaurants, unique activities, parks, walking trails, and even has a launch point for kayaks or paddleboards if you like water activities.
Of course, there are several parks in the wider Chattanooga area that are great places to visit. Coolidge Park is a long-time favorite of locals and tourists alike, hosting a splash pad, a carousel, and large green spaces with plenty of space for picnics and games. And while this particular park does not allow pets, its neighbor, Renaissance Park, is the perfect place to get out with your dog and take a nice stroll on a sunny day. There are several other parks scattered around Chattanooga and its suburbs; there's one in particular that we wanted to highlight this year. Little Debbie & Veterans Memorial Park. This year is our country's 250th birthday, and if you're looking for a way to pay your respects to fallen soldiers or make your trip educational for your kids, Veterans Memorial Park is a good place to stop. Point Park is another great historical location for those heading to Lookout Mountain if you're interested in Civil War monuments.
Chattanooga also hosts a great deal of local markets throughout the year. If you're in the area throughout spring, summer, or fall, you'll have no shortage of locally made goods to choose from. There are day markets, night markets, weekend markets, and weekday markets. No matter the day or time, we're sure you'll find something special to take back home.
If you're looking for something more adventurous, there are plenty of hiking trails all across Chattanooga and even within a short driving distance just outside of the city. If you want to visit Lookout Mountain during your visit, Glenn Falls is an easy, nearby hiking trail that's fairly close to downtown. If you're looking for something more challenging but not too far out of the way, try Edward's Point or (if you're up for a 30ish-minute drive) Cloudland Canyon[1]. But if you're looking for something more relaxing and less strenuous, Enterprise South Nature Park is a great place to visit. It's home to 100 different WWII ammunition storage bunkers. Can you find them all?
Maybe you're looking to cool off in the water this summer and are looking for a great place to camp out and enjoy swimming or kayaking. Or maybe you even have a boat to take out on the water with you. If so, Chickamauga Lake is one of our personal favorites. Two main parks utilize Chickamauga Lake: Harrison Bay and Chester Frost Park. Chester Frost has one of the largest inland beaches in the state, and Harrison Bay has beautiful camping sites.
No matter who you are or what you like, you're bound to find something fun to do when you visit our beautiful city. But maybe you're looking for activities closer to home. If so, we hope these suggestions will spark new ideas on how to spend your time in the great outdoors.
Allergy Prevention

Springtime is not all fun and games, though. It's also when flowers bloom, and grass grows, bringing with it beautiful colors and terrible allergies alike. It's not just humans who suffer through seasonal allergies, either. Our pets can also have adverse reactions to grass and many other allergens. If your pet suffers from allergies, you know where we're coming from. As such, we have handcrafted specific treats for the purpose of assisting with these allergies.
The key ingredient behind these treats is nutritional yeast: an ingredient rich in vitamin Bs and many other nutrients. It provides added protection against fleas and ticks, helps prevent allergies, and supports joint health.
We provide three different treat flavors with nutritional yeast. Our Peanut Butter (a well-loved classic), as well as our Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Cheddar treats, both of which have added omegas. Omega-3 & 6 fatty acids are not only essential in our pets' diets, but they also aid in skin, coat, joint, and heart health.
If you're looking for an extra health boost to add to your pet's diet, try these today!
(Note: these are treats and not meant to be supplements for medication.)
Have Fun!

Now it's time to go have fun in the sun! Don't forget to clean up after your pets. If you're visiting Chattanooga or already live in the area, be sure to check out our stores and stock up on these treats! If you're outside of the Chattanooga area and looking to stay close to home, that doesn't have to stop you from having fun. Visit a beach, spend time at a local park, hang out with friends at a lake, or even go for a hike. No matter where you are, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. And when all else fails, there's always imagination to help you out.
